Each site creates its own project description for AmeriCorps members, members generally coordinate public education about non-violent conflict resolution and mediation, recruit and coordinate volunteers and develop partnerships with agencies and grass roots organizations.  All members participate in activities which increase their self knowledge and receive mediation training and out reach training.  Other possible opportunities include learning various computer skills, public relations and event organization.
